Vegas Vacation  Vegas Vacation is the 4th movie in the National Lampoon’s Vacation series. It is a 1997 American comedy film directed by Stephen Kessler. The actors are Chevy Chase, Beverly D’Angelo, Wayne Newton, Randy Quaid, Wallace Shawn and Ethan Embry.

The Main Story

Clark Griswold ( Chevy Chase ) invents a long-life food preservative which earns him a large bonus check.

He decides to take the family to Las Vegas so that he and his wife Ellen ( Beverly D’Angelo ) can renew their wedding vows.

The family weren’t keen on going but go along to please their dad.

Once they arrive in Vegas, the movie goes through the family experiencing a series of misadventures. These include Clark becoming giving gambling a go, resulting in him being parted with his cash at the Blackjack table.This was long before the advent of best online casinos usa, and so ‘going to’ the casino involved just that.

They head off to a Keno game and meet an old gentleman there and have a friendly chat with him. They lose their keno game, but the old guy wins but dies of a heart attack. However, before he dies, he gives Clark his ticket.

The Ending

In the end, Clark and Ellen renew their wedding vows with their winnings, and then the family leave Vegas in the four cars that Rusty had won on the slot machines. The cars were a Dodge Viper, Ford Mustang, a Hummer H1, and a Ford Aspire. This comedy caper is popular the world over, with both gamblers and non gamblers alike.
